| I think this song is about a girl who wants all the old superficial things in a relationship like the flowers and the lines. But all he wants is to spend time with her and enjoy her company, like that is enough for him. Also, when confronted with why he doesn't give out the superficial items anymore, he has no answer where it's like a void. Like things his love for her is dying, and he knows he should care but he just can't find the words or feelings. | |

| no no no, this song ain't about the ppl saying 311 is turning soft, because then in the chorus nick wouldn't say "ans I have no answer" they DO have an answer, "THEY ARE EVOLVING", and that is what 311 is about, the whole new vibe you get from album to album, so I think is prob about a girl... (although miss SA rapping and scratching still luv'em!) | |
