| Drug addiction? Where does it say anything about drugs? I'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just saying I see no mention of drugs, literally or metaphorically. Seems to me that he's just in love with this girl who is perfect for him, she's exiting and constantly full of suprise, hence her 'deuces' being wild. I may be wrong to, I was confused for a long time with the line 'Deuces are wild'. I'm really just settling on the theory i cam up with that fits it most... I'm not satisfied though - which is what this site is for. Would be great if more people posted their opinions on this great track though. | |

| Plus this was on the "Beavis And Butt-head Experience" CD, which automatically makes it cool. =D I really like this song. It's really catchy and one of those songs that, once again, only Steven Tyler could sing. | |

| i definitly agree with tylergirl if you read their autobiography you will learn that steven was truly in love with "diana" a girl who was 14 when he was in his mid 20's, he even had her parents sign over custody so she could live with him. They dated for more than 3 years, but she was just too young and the two ended up separating. All the references to "loving you since you was a child girl" and it just makes sense to me 1 | |

| has anyone here read walk this way the aerosmith autobiography? if you have you will know about Diana the young girl Steven was dating. The lines It's you that's in my dreams I'm begging for But I woke up when someone slammed the door makes it seem like hes singing about her as he people would try to stop him seeing her. also the repeated words "little girl" and "mamas little baby" as Diana was very young ,14, when Steven was 28. Dont know if this is right, but thats what pops in my head when i listen to this song. Anyone share my opinion? | |

| yeah.. I have a hard time believing nobody posted about thsi song either! it is REALLY good..i remember when i first bought the Gold CD, i must have listened to it over and over again a million times. It's just the ultimate song of dedication, it's showing how much the singer loves this girl, he's loved her for all his life and he will love her forever. maybe "deuces are wild" could be saying that she's just a crazy person and he loves her for that.. her spirit is wild and free and that's what he wants in a person..? It's just such a good song, even the melody is so nice, this would definetely make my pick of best romance songs. | |

| I like the intro to the song, and when the first lines hit; it makes them pretty powerful, and it makes it sound like his giving all of his emotion. Ditto to the previous comments-I'm surprised no one likes this song that much. I was going through my iPod and found it and thought it was pretty cool, otherwise I might never have listened to it again. ;) Anyone, as for the chorus, it seems to me that the "Deuces are wild" line would have to do with "two", like the two of them are wild together, or as he says, they are two of a kind. I dunno, but I really like the song. | |
