| Well, I dont like Alanis very much but this song in particular caught my attention cause it deals with a whole lot of emotion, and I think that this song can mean diferent things to diferent people cause its very. ."Opened" to diferent points of view. My personal take on it, its also something much like the original meaning of it. You know just someone that you think makes you happy but is actually destroying you and you dont know you really dont need him/her but that he/she needs you. | |

| This song is about Alanis when she was a teenager. She was involved with a *much older* man. The main part of the lyrics about things that the man would have said. The chorus is Alanis's thoughts on it. I think that it is a great song. Brilliantly written, and in some ways, I can relate to it. | |
