| my boyfriend, said to me a few months ago that he absolutely loved this song, he said it should be OUR song. So whenever i hear it, it reminds me of him, how we are best friends, and how we've fallen had over feet for eachother. Its the perfect song for us both. | |

| this to me is about a girl who was never really treated *like a girl* by a man. ya know, all the guys she was with before treated her like a possession. not like a person. then she finally found a man who is not only a gentleman, but her best friend. it's sweet. 1 2 3 Next | |

| This song is so great. I love it. To me it means how he got her once, even though she was maybe scared of it, because she's scared of commitment, and then she says "don't be suprised if I fall, head over feet"...meaning she DOES like/love him, she's just unsure/scared. She's saying how that the guy she loves is her best friend and that he's always there for her... Reminds me of my and the guy in my life.. =] | |

| whenever i listen to this song i always imagine it being like one of those hceesy movies where boy meets girl, girl instantly doesn't like him because boys so smooth slick and what she thinks sleezy. boys likes girl, and shows it, and in the end girl realises that the tension betwen them perhaps wasn't hate, but something more passionate. then they live happily everafter. if that makes any sense. | |

| It reminds me of my boyfriend. Mostly because it acuratly describes how he treats me. The chorus very accuratly describes how I feel. Its just a happy song. It reminds me that I have someone who cares about me for once. I care about him too - and its all his fault. | |

| by akissej55 on 09-02-2002 @ 10:45PM i find it interesting how all these comments are dated in the year 2002 when "Jagged Little Pill" came out in 1995. Couple reasons for that, actually. 1: The site hasn't been around that long. 2: The lyrics were just posted in June, 2001. ------- For some reason I just got re-obsessed with Jagged Little Pill... I've owned it since '95 or '96... I was 11 or 12 when I bought it. I stopped listening to it years ago, and I'm 19 now. I listen to this song and it reminds me of what my g/f told me before we got together. Almost everything in this song relates to what she told me. We were best friends for a while... then it progressed. She was in love with me, I was in love with her... and she had the guts to confess first. It took me a while to tell her how I felt about her though. I'm such a wuss... lol. Whenever I hear this song it reminds me of the early days... | |

| i just got back into the jagged little pill CD. it was actually one of my very first CD's and like a year or two ago i gave it away and after listening to a few good oldies, i want it back!! this song is one of my fave's off the CD. i think it's basically talking about a girl falling for her best guy friend.. ex; 'best friend with benefits.' when she says, 'you treat me like a princess,' i think shes referring to that one guy who's been there for her through the worst times and now she's starting to realize how much she wants to be with this person. i can totally relate to the lyrics! | |

| I can't begin to tell what this song means to me. Two years ago, a good friend told me that he was in love with me. He likes this song a lot. Now I have turned the tables. Now I am in love with him. Now he also has a girlfriend. I'm not sure if he is still in love with me now because things have gotten a little shaky in the communication department, but whenever I hear this song, I think of him. That is only a tiny sliver of what this song means to me. | |

| I cannot begin to tell you how much I identify with this song. In my opinion it is about a boy who was infatuated with a girl, but she did not feel that way about him... eventually though she fell for him so deep that his love for her and vice versa transcended all boundaries of what she possibly imagined for her love life. This is exactly what happened with my boyfriend and every time I hear it I think of him and our journey from best friends to lovers. - My best friend with benefits ;) what took me so long? - | |
