	fair enough, at least you argue your point better than renegade. and no, ive never seen moneen play live, and my claim over their enthusiasm was purely from hearing their music...just doesnt sound like its got anything behind it, if you know what i mean... and i agree over musicianship being down to taste. personally i prefer alexis, but i can sort of see how some could prefer moneen...

Anyways, even harder then taking a screaming song and making it soft, would be taking a shitty song and making it good, which is exactly what Alexis did here.

	Well, I have both songs (that is by moneen and alexisonfire) and i have to say that the AoF version is way better. Even the vocals are better. The sheer energy that its played and sang with is moving... especially the added ending, Keeps ya wanting more... Its seems like the accuracy and tempo is also kept better by AoF.

	renegade.faction.. What the fook? Screaming is soo much harder than singing.. not only wud it absolutly wreck you voice.. but it has to have a tune.. And dont even START to compare theses genious's to other screamo bands, Alexis dont sound like anyone but themselves... every has a different scream aswell.. like theirs growls and screaches.. but thats all a bit technical And they dont sound like plastic robots if thats what your implying.. if it makes the songs sound better.. why are u moaning?

	seriously renegade, come on... moneens cover of accidents was god awful. The thing that makes Accidents an excellent song is the passion, speed and energy behind it. All Moneen did was slow it down and sang the bits that originally screamed....which completely fucked it up...and AoF's versions of the Moneen songs were so much better. They put some fucking balls behind the song and actually sounded like they cared. This song is actually good thanks to Alexisonfire.

	It's actually sad that you think that this song is good because someone screams in it. As has been proved by the surge of copycat artists on MTV and Much Music, anyone can scream. And it remains a proven fact that not just anyone can sing. And isn't it just fantastically amazing that as they get more and more mainstream coverage, the boys in Alexisonfire rely more and more on studio wizardry for their music. Note the effects on George's voice in Accidents. And just wait til you guys get to hear their new stuff off the new album.

	This is, imo, the best cover on the moneen/alexisonfire split. Perhaps because it's not one of my favorite moneen songs, alexisonfire really made it significantly better. The passing of america is one of my favorite songs ever, and it would have been impossible for these guys to do it any better.

	Moneen shows off their instrumental prowess on several occasions on the new album. To claim that alexisonfire are much better musicians is really a matter of taste, there's no real evidence to support that. Dallas green is a better singer than Kenny is, but the production and songwriting on moneen's new album is quite good. Also, if you're trying to claim that moneen lack enthusiasm, you have clearly never seen them play live.

	You're a douchebag also. Moneen's covers of Alexis were done way better than the Alexisonfire covers. Accidents was a million times better done by Moneen. Same with Sharks and Danger. It's easier to take a song and play it heavier. It's harder to take a screaming song and sing it out. Kudos to the Moneen boys.

	I think both bands did it well. I think Alexisonfire is more advanced than moneen in musical expertise, but Moneen is obviously willing to take things further and experiment with sound. Thats a talent thats much appreciated on this front. Two amazing bands, and one amazing cover.

	hey renegade....just because something has effects, doesnt mean its shit. if no one had ever used effects, music would still be in the fucking stone age. Theres something called "sound quality", and just because moneen have never heard of it, doesnt make them good....in fact, it makes them ignorant shits.... And heres some news for ya! I dont think the song is better because it screams, i think its better because its got some ENTHUSIASM. Which is a quality that Moneen seriously lack.... AND, you seem to have some crazy idea in your head that Moneen are good at singing....well, theyre horribly mundane and average at best, whereas Dallas Green is (in my opinion) the finest vocalist around today. So ill have to go with Adelledaforever when he told ya to fuck off to the moneen page. Alexisonfire are the best band ever, so stop contaminating this page with your shit taste.
