| Though it might be Layne predicting his own death, I actually think the song is about being paranoid and afraid of when one's death will come. The chorus is very catchy, and a perfect starting song for Dirt. Funny story, I actually first heard of AIC through GTA: San Andreas. I loved this song. In fact, GTA got me into a number of bands, including Stone Temple Pilots, Jane's Addiction, Rage Against the Machine, Living Colour, Faith No More, and above all, (Probably tied with AIC in my mind) Soundgarden. | |
