	IIIincubusIII iss pretty much i right i guess, and i also can relate to these lyrics cause ive benn in the same situation. I also think its funny, that he names all seasons in the chorus

	And it’s so hard to get out of bed She’s impossible to get out of your head what a great line. i can feel the pain of him when he sings this song.

	I personally think it's about a failed reltionship. That he really loved the girl and though he tried to make her happy (give her summer), all he did was the opposite, (But I'm winter).

	"Tried to give you summer, but I’m winter Wish I could make you spring, but I fall so hard" I think that he wishes he could give her what she wants but no matter how hard he tries, he can't because she wants what he isn't. He knows that he's not the one for her. Does that make sense to you guys? I'm probably all wrong.

	I love this song. It is the best song ever. Not exactly quite sure of the exact meaning of it. But I interprt it as basicly being someone who has tried to give a person the opposite of who they really are in order to win them over. But then it doesnt work out and they finally tell the truth to this person and basicly I think that the person is having trouble getting over it. And well yeah...Thats what I think. Dont take my word for it though.

	This is personally one of my favourites. To me it seems that Dryden (or whoever he is voicing) admitted to being dishonest but she is not so easily forgiving, 'but the feeling's dead'. He's aware of his mistakes and is trying his best to make up for them. But she is not ready to give in, and so the time in which she mulls in over is hell for him, 'Several days ... cloud now', 'Several weeks ... And it’s so hard'. He always falls short of what he feels will make up for his mistakes, which is summer and spring. He therefore refers to himself as the colder seasons, winter and autumn/fall. And of course, who hasn't felt this over the one they love? 'And it’s so hard to get out of bed. She’s impossible to get out of your head' Its kinda a sad song considering what he's willing to do/change. A lot of people aren't like that.

	This song to me, is about a guy who has lied to his girlfriend (possibly cheated) and confessed everything to her. Now she doesn't want to be with him, even though he does everything for her. No matter how hard he tries, he always gets rejected. So, in the end, he finally gives up and lets her go. Then he can't stop thinking about her. This is a song that a lot of people can probably relate to. Good song, great cd. 1

	I think that the person above me is pretty much right. This guy really loves this girl, but he is completely the opposite of what she needs.

	i think he is saying "i tried to give you happiness, but it didnt work because im not happy myself...and it totally did not work" at least thats what i get from the chorus. good song though.

	I think the verses are 3rd person, reflecting on himself. He did something bad in a relationship and finally fessed up... alas, too late. During the chorus he tries to explain that he tried to make it up by giving her summer, etc. All actions are futile, because of his "lies" from the first verse.

	I love this song so much. Its all about A dude liking a girl, but he knows it won't work cause they are just too different. The lyrics are great.... kicks smooth criminals ass hands down.
