	basically, its about how people spell their whole lives trying to get into heaven and that life is waiting until you die. but hes saying there really is no heaven at all. and that everyone is going to hell when they die anyway. and incase you havnt noticed they kind of have a satanic point of veiw on things "nothing but fire down below, me and my friends waiting on your soul"

	i heard it off the warped tour cd too! it's really amazing. and yeah i agree with marcusH too, it's basically about that as far as i can tell. and it does still follow the satanic feel from matt, how he and his friends are waiting in hell. but heaven doesn't exist. it seems to follow pretty well. and fits in with him being in the church of satan.

	I don't know about any of you, but the line: "Here's the church open the people..." is a play on a childrens rhyme. It has some little hand motions and things with it, and originally goes: "Here's the church open the STEEPLE..." So yeah, just thought I would add that little tid-bit. Awesome awesome song. 	I bought it just for this song, too. I'm hopelessly obsessed. I love the lines, "Don't pray for me, one dy you'll find I'm sleeping in my urn feeling just fine." There's a boy at my school who's ALWAYS hacking on me because I'm Catholic. He's one of those overly-assertive religiout people....I'm only Catholic by force; my parents make me go to Church...I get nothing out of it. So Alkaline Trio has inspired me to try to convince him that I'm a Satanist. 1

	Sweet! This song is the first on the Warp Tour Compilation. I love it because it has an old school trio feel, with matt's morbid talk of hell (poetry), but also exemplifies how they have matured as artists, note the solo played behing the intro. Gotta gotta love it!

	To me this song is just about death. It sounds like he's talking about life after death. There is no heaven (nothing but darkness up aboe) and down below the fire burns (Hell) he and his friends will be there in the end just waiting for you to join them. I've only heard it once and just read the lyrics, but life after death is what I get.
