	Alkaline Trio's on MTV2? Hmmm, I woulda figured they'd put out Radio as their first single. It always seemed to be their most popular song from the two or so people that I've talked to that have heard of them.

	okay, i was thinking about this song today.. someone said he's not really a p.i. but he's more of a stalker. this is all i could come up with.. he's following his girlfriend around and he catches her cheating on him. "pieces of planes, and black box recorders don't lie" (there's the evidence he finds) "new years eve was as boring as heaven, i watched flies fuck on channel 11, there was no one to kiss" (ehh.. coz his girlfriend was out with the other guy? i don't know what the flies fucking has to do with it, heh) I can't really relate the rest of the song. I tried, guys, but maybe it was too big of a stretch. :/

	this is probably one of my favorite ak3 songs and one of the saddest lyrically. on audiogalaxy, people were discussing what they thought the saddest songs were just from the lyrics of 'private eye.' what do you kids think?

	now... i think private eye is about a cop or investigator who is stalking someone. He knows what he is doing and is anticipating his failure. Alot of Alk3's stuff is very symbolic (lyrically) and it holds alot more meaning than people think. I love this band.

	mtv is bad, because the band has to have "the look" to get on there. mtv is the record-producers heaven. Stuff like britney spears would not crack the market as much, without the videos of her wondering around half naked.and when thery start putting the videos on the cd singles, you really wonder if its about the music anymore.............
