| Ya know, in interviews, Matt is a self-admitted athiest. Now, if you subscribe to any sort of idea of spiritual belief, it is not possible to be an athiest AND a satanist at the same time. He also admits to enjoying getting a rise out of people however he can...and satanic imagery is a pretty simple way of doing that. | |

| Hah -- I can't believe I'm going to agree with a person who calls him/herself "Fallen Poo". Hah, kidding, I think, but yeah, that's my favorite part as well. I just saw Alkaline 2 days ago and they were absolutely wonderful. My friend, Zach, even got to kiss Matt. Cool or what? *YAY Alkaline* | |

| Someone may have said this already, i read that a few people didn't understand it so I'm gonna explain, theres thisn old riddle, that goes: What's black and white, and RED all over?? the answer is the newspaper, its black and white and READ all over. Its a dumb joke for little kids, so he uses the riddle, and throws a twist on it. The part about the satanic book may be true also, but I thought I'd let everyone know about the riddle. | |

| "What's upside down? What's coated in silver? This crucifix is my four leaf clover " Obviously, as MechSpike said That is about Satanism or maybe Satan being his good luck charm. "I put it all in back of my mind where I hold you I'm just trying to keep track, how far back it really goes " That part I think means that when it was over, he tried to hide all of his feelings and he cant keep track of how much he felt, cause its so much. My favorite lines "I smile in regret every time I think of how I spoke to you" Because, ya no, if you say something stupid or you let someone know how your feeling and later you just smile cause you feel so stupid? This is a great song, personaly I think it is about Giving someone your heart, letting them no how you feel, and then when its over. | |

| Excellent song, I still don't understand why you guys (or girls) didn't understand the upside down crucifix part. If you know Matt he has a different approach on religion. Check out the song "Hell Yes" for a deeper view on his opinion.... | |

| I think its about when you are going out with someone for ages and you become totally reliant on them with regard to your happiness, then they leave you and you are left with nothing, like placing all your trust on someone is a gamble, (all on black is a gambling term incase you didn't know, lol). | |

| I'm going to have to agree with MechSpike's meaning of the song.. but, as stupid as this may sound, when matt sings.. "and i'm living in lack, of the blood sent from your heartbeat that arrived in your neck" it sort of makes me think of some kind of vampire, hence the fact that theres the carotid(sp?) artery in the neck and the blood there is all warm and stuff and the neck is mostly where vampires bite..? | |
