| alkaline trio sold out! now there gonna be anouther band on TRL or MTV too. The video sucked . there probly gonna tour with like blink,jimmy,saves,dashboard,o yeah not saves the day cause they broke up and i hope thats why alkaline trio sold out. so its the end folks. alkaline trio went aginst everything that i thought they beleved in . and became a group of pozers .insted of a kick ass underground punk rock band. for nothing ex money. | I figured out this song armagedon.its about them selling out .ok when they say "behind your back" they mean the true fans.and the lyric "alittle something like this is way to big to miss i got a letter in the mail" its the label and a big fucking check in a letter or a sell out invitation.next is when they sing"my last calls been called half an hour ago" they mean the band is dun they are gonna break up watch they are just cashing in . maybe there not getting along anymore or mabe the "last call" is the labels threat that its there last chance.the next thing about selling out is "write in fear of a song everybody hates"well thats to the people that figured out this song like i did cause now were gonna hate it and they know it . next "before we say goodbye give us something (money)" sold out. next "we're not begging For too much I don't think Just need a goodbye kiss (one last salute) Before we sink We sink" well there it is that sums it up for me and it should for you. they wernt gonna last very much longer for sum reason and i think they new this was the last song they were gonna write .they ran out of things to write about in my opinion .and they wrote this to get that one last solute before they sink .well now they sank. but they get no salute from me.I gave my solute before they sold out because i figured this song out along time ago. | |

| I haven't been an Alkaline Trio fan forever, only for 2 years now. But it's not that I think they sold out, it's I know they DID NOT sell out. Second they never play Alkaline Trio on MTV, trust me my brothers makes me watch it all the time. Third you don't own them (nickman) and they sure as hell don't own you anything as well...if your were such a true fan you would like them for their music and only their music, and not use some bull shit reason of hating them like "they sold out" you sound like a fuckin nazi! | Alkaline trio didn't sell out...there is a difference between selling out and being successful. So just because there gaining popularity means they're sell-outs, I don't think so. If you were in a band and It started becoming famous could we call you sellouts? I'm getting sick of hearing about groups selling out. Just because your jealous that your not famous you look down on bands who put a lot of hard work into a job which is very competitive and hard to earn enough money to buy McDonalds. Do you know how hard it is to be in a band? Its insanely hard so don't knock something without knowing what they're going through. As for the song I really really like it.
