| i love this song, lyrically and musically. i love the mock teenage angst of 'it's not fair, it's not ever close' to the utter perfect simplicity of 'it's never fine when you go away.' the whole 'like watching new born babies crack from work related stress' is one of the best 'trio lyrics ever. the whole studing in english class thing someone was saying earlier... well alk3 lyrics have been the titles for every creative piece i've done for the past two years. good job i don't have a punk rock teacher. | |

| I was reading a site the other day talking bout Alkaline Trio should be classified as Intellipunk. So far thats the best damn genre I've heard them put into. They deserve it! Their lyrics are amazingly poetic, and I wouldnt doubt if they're studied in English classes in the future. | |

| "these cuts run deep, these scars are permanent, and always on display." This is what I listened to [along with NIN's "hurt" -hence the username-] when I cut and was suicidal. I felt like everyone was leaving and everything was worthless.. and all efforts to be happy were futile. "head like an empty sterile room. somehow i made a mess." hehe... makes me think of the good ol' prozac days. | |

| This is a brilliant song about, well, a breakup like just about every song by Alkaline Trio. The lyrics of their songs are just... quite possibly the ebst in emo, but then again it's a good genre. I mean, come on, "like watching newborn babies crack from work related stress", that's BRILLIANT! I'd want to listen to this song at a point where I felt like crap. Thankfully that hasn't really happened yet. | |

| This song is definatly up with my favorites. I don't really have a clear thought to what this song is about. But I'll take a stab at it. I think its about being abandoned by someone you care about, again. They leave you and all you have is memories burned into you. I dont know, but my foot hurts. I'll try again later. -Alk3, better than pee.- 1 2 Next | |

| Oh god....I've got no sympathy for people who wanna commit suicide unless they have a proper depression problem and need pills for it. I don't think you do it for attention I don't know what you do it for, but we all have problems mate, if you can't get through your school life without wanna to kill yourself wait till you leave, I mean look at my parents. Good song anyway. | |

| i used to cut alot...and i would try to comit suiside like once a week. Everyone would ignore me and say i was doing it for atenchon, it pissed me off and i just walked around all quiet and alone all the time and everyone wanted to know what was wrong i just said "nothing, im fine" i hated everyone and everything i just wanted to die...after a while i would try and stay away frome everyone, i would sit in my room and zone out listening to music. my room is on second floor so i would look out the windo at the ground. i thought about jumping....but it wasnt really high nuff to kill me unless i broke my neck or my back or smashed my skull. my brother was the onlyone that actuly understood me i would talk to him alot.. but i guess im over it now eaven tho every once and a while i think about suicide agin. i allways change my mind. i would have probly tryed a fue more times on one of the days i was alone if it wasnt for music (Alkaline Trio & HWM) | |

| Genres suck!!...To me this song means that you have to express yourself to the other person otherwise they're not going to get it and you're going to screw everything up. We shouldn't hold back. | |
