Asesino is the off-shoot project of Brujeria guitarist Asesino, which has featured members of Brujeria and Static-X in the ranks. The music is similar to Brujeria, in that Asesino plays Death/grind, and it is not unusual for Asesino to do Slayer covers live... most notably Angel Of Death or Reign In Blood. As with Brujeria, the lyrics are sung entirely in Spanish and with the same subject matter of death, violence and perversion. Guitarist Asesino describes the band as the new Brujeria.
