| i first heard this song the night before a kid from my school died in a car accident. the creepy part was, he had been in a pretty bad car accident only two months before. it just made me think about how he had gotten a second chance. | |

| this song means so much to me! I seem to think of verses from this song all the time. Like, with my boyfriend, he gets upset about things and he'll tell me not to worry about it, and after hearing this song I was like, "but I will worry, and it does matter" And He's given me so many second chances in things. I think that I learn best from experiance and the mistakes i've made, which mistakes can make you look the opposite of what you say, like when they "eat your words". Second chances are awesome, especially when you're forgiven and given the chance to make it past the first. | |

| I heard her talk about this song on an "All Access 24/7 Episode, and I beleive I know what it's about. One of her brother's friends was involved in a drunk driving car accident, and he had to go to the hospital after being fatally hurt. He survived, and Michelle wrote this song for him while she was in High School. I BELEIVE this is the correct information, but then again, I might be somehow wrong. But, I'm pretty sure this is right. By the way, I love michelle branch!!! | |

| I wish more people really listened to her songs you know cuz I know a lot of people that don't really know how talented this girl is and it makes me kinda mad cuz they wont take the time to listen to her!! Anyways, the reason I like this song is because everyone can relate I mean it's about making mistakes and wondering why somethings happen and how sometimes you don't really hear the warning like sometimes you don't really think about what you'r e doing before doing it. That's happened to me so many times I have made so many mistakes and wish I would have just listened to myself. Or something bad happened to someone that you really care about a lot and you just wish it was you.......but yeah I'm pretty sure you get the song from the lyrics. Love u guys! -Erica | |

| MyGhostTakesFlight...That is what I think too. Everytime I hear this song I think about my friend who was killed in a car accident. It makes one think. Why why why... | |
