Branch, Michelle Sweet Misery Acoustic Guitar Tab

Sweet Misery (Acoustic Version)
By: Michelle Branch
From the album: Broken Bracelet
Tabbed out by Candice ::.Secret surname.::
This is my first tab. But it seems pretty accurate to my ears. I'm not sure of the real
strumming but you can play this song with this because the strumming still kinda fits.

I think this song is supposed to relate to a girl ( michelle ) who isn't too sure where she stands in the world. All she has, or well had was her music until some guy came along. This guy made her feel like she stood somewhere in the world. Confident, stable-- like he helped her with her confidence and such.

This song has always reminded me of a drug addiction. I mean seriously, if you listen to it, it really fits. It's so beautiful and means more than one story...it just tells so many just like all of here songs, she's an amazing lyricist.

I like how the intro. kind of sounds like something the Eurythmics would do, kind of 80s adult alternative. Not to mention that it is such a familiar feeling to anyone who has experienced unrequited love...sweet misery. You love to hate it.
