palm mutes them, and plays C# E G# E C# E G# then F# (x244xx) then he plays a
C# chord at a beat that occurs later in the bridge in the bridge you can pull
of the 2 in the C# chord to make it a C#/B chord which the bass keeps doing,
practice and you'll learn the timing
