Chicosci is one of the most active Pinoy rock bands today. They started out as a Deftones tribute band in the late 1990's before writing original material. Chicosci released three albums namely "Revenge of the Giant Robot" (2000), "Method of Breathing" (2001) and "Icarus" (2004). Their biggest hit to date is "Paris" from their sophomore effort. "Paris" stands as the only song to hold the number one spot on Manila rock station NU 107's Midnight Countdown for a lengthy period of time. Chicosci is currently working on their fourth CD. When they released their first single, they were known as Chico Science, apparently a tribute name to the Brazilian singer with the same name. They later shorten it to Chicosci to avoid confusion and legal matters. This article on a band or other musical ensemble is a stub. You can help by expanding it.
