| Ive been listening to this song lately since i feel the same damn way right now. My luck with women has been real bad, no matter how hard i try man. I guess women dont like the lack of things I have to offer. So all ive been doing is running on faith. It kinda sucks for real. | |

| This song is one of the most emotional songs Eric Clapton sings. I always took it to be about someone who lost a very great love, and is pretty much empty without it and feels like everything would be alright if that love returned. I love the way Clapton sings the line "and we'd go running on faith." It is like he is imagining a moment with the woman he loves that would overcome him with peace and contentment. Like it is all that he wants in the world. So powerful, especially if you identify with that interpretation. 1 | |

| I think she means 'incredible'^ This song is a great love song, I suggest the live version from 24 Nights. It is a classic love song about a man who doesn't have much to offer, and he is looking for a mate. He explains the importance of having faith in what he believes in and hopes for it everyday. He is in love... | |
