| i agree with everyone else. My friend is a huge kelly clarkson song and most of the songs either remind her of herself or me. This song reminds her alot of herself and i agree. She used to have this boyfriend who always made her happy, and they went off and on for about a year. He broke up with her though because hes a stupid asshoel and doesnt realize how great she is. but yah they both moved on and its been like three years now... but he messed her up real bad. She was so happy and it seemed like he was and then one day he just randomly ended it... it wasnt right. And he knows that shes still crazy about him but wont forgive him cuz he messed her up and all her thoughts and feelings always go abck to him. I ofcourse dont get alogn with this jerk because he just likes to drag my best friend around so he knows he always has someone even though he doesnt really care about her. But ANYWAYs... the song could be about that because that is exactly how my best friend feels. =( | |

| The video is amazing. After watching it I am seeing the producer's/Kelly's perception of the song. I think most of us can relate to a situation in our life that starts out great, yet somewhere and somehow things change, in this case he was cheating. Yet instead of acknowledging it right away we would rather pretend everything is still great. At first we are hurt, but eventually grow numb and are just pissed off that we got screwed over. The video shows Kelly having all of those emotions. To me thats what the song is about.........emotions and all that we go through when we are wronged in life. | |

| I think that it can either be about a relationship or it could be about a friendship. I know when a lot of shit happened with my so called friends I could really relate to it. It's like .. when the one person who seems to make your life great, and the one person who can always put a smile on your face decides they don't want to be with you anymore that you can't pretend it's not hurting you. But you don't want them to see you cry, because it would show them that you're not strong, so you put on a tough front. 'Now all that's left on me Is what I pretend to be So together but so broken up inside' I love Kelly.. and so many of her songs I relate to, especially this one and 'Addicted'. | |

| All I can say is wow. When I heard this song on the radio I immediately raced home to find out who sang it. I love Kelly Clarkson and I love this song so much. It makes me think of my current relationship with this guy. I like him soo much, but he's so careless that I'm getting to the point where I just can't handle it anymore. I tell him everything in my life and I feel safe whenever he is around me, but I feel like I am hiding behind the truth...I know it has to end because I cannot keep trying to make this relationship work. I have to let him go and I know I'll be devasted when it's finally over. | I believe that this song is about a relationship that came apart. Meaning that like the girlfriend got over her ex and moved on, but also still misses him in a way. That's what I think. I just can't really explain it, though. | |

| I get what you're saying, Music Ann. I think it was that they were together, he was such a part of her that teh breakup tore her up inside and now she's trying to get it all together. She hates him but she blames herself because she's hurt because of latching onto him too much and it's not his fault, really. I love this song because it's so much like me... | i can really relate to this song...i went out with this guy for a little over 2 years and i thought he was the one then he got into drugs and he broke it off.he hurt me so bad and cried all the time..i didnt sleep or eat.he really messed me up.for a long time i hid the pain from him...even though we never talked..but we had a class together and i cried sometimes in there but a few weeks later i tried to make him think i was fine.but in the end everything got better and now i have a much better guy but i have hazel eyes too...so this song scares me sometimes cuz i feel like it tells my story | |

| I love this song so much. This song is the one that got me really into her. I think it means how she was happy wit a guy but then all of a sudden everything changed. Shes sad about it, but she wont give in and cry on te outside..maybe keep her pain in? I adore the video. I think its her best one yet. Kelly has an amazing voice, and it really shows through this song. It seems she feels the song and sings her heart out. | |
