	the lyrics that you missed above where you said 'say the sun looks low' is actually one of howie's trademark lyric switches. i believe he says something like 'leave tonight and sign the senders log'. if u guys are such die hard howie fans you should've jumped right on that.

	I love howie's version of this song so much. It is awesome. This song just reminds me of like those summer nights when you're driving around late at night with somebody special to you, like a best friend or a boyfriend. And like you don't want to go home and it feels like it's you against the world but it's ok b/c you're together.

	I really like this version better then the better then ezra version, but I have my sentimental reasons. The person who introduced me to Howie Day is who I think of when I listen to this song, and, "Hate us Cause we are who we are" really applies to my... yes. 1

	i love this song. im not sure if i got all the right lyrics but i tried. any corrections would be greatly appreciated. i love howie. i have this song acoustic but i dont know where else you can get it. my fav line is "blames us cause we are who we are. hate us cause you'll never get that far" i like haha you'll never have a relationship like ours. i love it.

	i love the better than ezra version, it is the original of course. but howie's is so much more emotion-filled and gives me a different, more personally related feeling when i listen to it. i think its a great cover.

	those lyrics are somewhat wrong, the real ones are... maybe i should drop you at your door and leave tonite and vanish up the shore anywhere but here. its three o'clock, we're driving in your car you're screaming out the window at the stars, "please dont drive me home!" chorus: blame us cause we are who we are and hate us cause you'll never get that far and who'd supposed that you would go i've already learned enough to know tell me all the places we could go and count the headlights passing on the road a long, long time ago chorus here we are foreign to their world straight and composed your sermons i can do without and i finally found that everybody loves to love you when you're far away could it be we've done somethign wrong? we'd make it back to your place before dawn "please dont take me home..." "please dont take me home..." chorus this song is great by better than ezra. i've never heard howie do it though.
