The Devotchkas is a four-piece
American
oi! band from
New York City. Their name is derived from the novel
A Clockwork Orange where devotchka is the
Nadsat word for "girl". An
all-girl group, the band was formed by three friends in 1996. The early period saw drummers come and go, including Jon from
The Krays....
