I havent seen any real useful tab on this song. So here goes a try at it.
I was inspired by the Eagles concert to tab this out, as it was the opening
Song. And I always liked it.

I didnt tab some fills, they are variations of the intro riff, and you can easily pick
out.
Or improvise on Am pentatonic, or Am blues scale. I couldnt quite hear the second guitar
the riffs,
I couldnt tab those parts.
Thanks for checking out my tab!

| On the outside it does seem that this song is about a guy and a girl. That's what I thought at first. But the song was really written about the long-term friendship between Don Henley and Glen Frey. Weird, huh? | |

| I'm surprised no one has commented on this song yet. Perhaps that is because the song is self-explanatory. He realizes how empty his life was before he met this woman (first verse) and now he's hoping that he will make it, in the long run. | |

| Kind of reminds me of "Take It Easy." Just settle down a bit, look at things, and see that they're not so bad. | |
