| i can see how u think this is about drugs "every line, it brings me right back down" with lines like that about how a friend led a person onto drugs and they got addicted and now they're stuck and their friend left them something like that but i think the intention all together was the betrayal of a friend or something and how it hurts and you can't really do much about it pretty much about a friend putting on an act and treating them nice and being nice when they wanted something then when their friend got upset blaming everything on them idk sucky stuff like that but yah it can also be about drugs thats so wats so great about these types of lyrics they're so diverse u can make of it what ever you need to 1 2 Next | |

| this song could be about losing your best friend. you leave home, and you only go home because of her because shes the one tie that you still value at home. and then the phone calls end and under-her-breath comments are made. and you dont know why. because its not your fault that shes not happy. and shes wrong blaming you, and she should know what you aren't happy either. and it hurts that she can't see this, because she is the only person that should see it. | |

| The song Ever So Sweet is about a guy in a relationship that he knows is over, but he keeps holding onto it. “I just found a friend, in one of your lies..” Here, he is saying how willing he was to grab onto anything the girl said to him, no matter how untrue it seemed, he still let himself act as the victim. “To treat me so nice, I can’t believe my bones when they say so many things. They tell me I am fine, believe me, I try.” Again, he says how he let himself believe all of her lies, and he liked how he felt, even if the things she said weren’t real. In his mind, he knows that she is lying and being untrue, but there are parts of him that won’t let go, because when she does those things to him, he feels like she actually loves him. On the surface, he tries to convince himself that it is alright, and that she truly does feel this way, but the convincing never quite works well enough and he’s left empty-handed. “Ever so sweet, you baked it in cakes for me.” All of her deceptions were well-planned and sugar-coated, as if she thought it would lessen the blow, and possibly rid his mind of suspicions. Overall I think this song is describing some sort of failing relationship, yet he’s not ready to let go quite yet. | |
