| This is my very favorite of the early november's songs. I think this song is about finding the beauty within yourself. Who cares what somebody else says about you it only matters what you think about yourself. And it isn't always about looks, but personality. The following line in the song signifies that statement. "it's all about the icing, and nobody cares about what's inside you could see the outside face, it looks good, it must be great and i know that's all you see, what would it matter anyway 'cause i can see right through your pretty, pretty skin today." | |

| i agree with the first meaning. girl leaves, boy still loves her, wants her to be happy, she only sees things from the outside and he thinks if he was diffrent somehow on the outside she would want him back. i really wish this was not just a demo and was at least a bonus on a cd. | |

| This is such a pretty song, hense the title. I'm listening to it right now haha and that's how I got my username 'cause im a loser like that, so anyway...i think it's about how he's like in love with this girl and she leaves but he still really wants her to be happy no matter what. The icing part means that she only cares about guys from their looks and once she gets to know them she just gets bored and leaves. "just give me one little second and i will try my hardest to make you feel like i'm someone else" i loooveee that because he's just saying that he's not good enough so maybe if he was someone else he would be and she would love him again. Just my opinions...more people should really post because this song rules. | |
