| this song is amazing, it's been one of my favorites for years now... one of my many themes! to me, it's about wanting to seize the day, take chances, live life like it's your last day in it... yet being surrounded by people who are always saying "maybe someday." "don't tell me that my ship is coming in nothing comes to those who wait time's running out the door you're running in," my favorite lines from this song, which sum up how I feel about life. patience is a virtue, I am so damn patient over everything, but sometimes I wish i didn't have to be, because while I'm being patient, chances are flying by. so many people want to put everything off until some day way off in the future...they're always saying "let's wait until later." me, though...I'm well aware of the fact that when I die, it's game over. I'm also aware of the fact I could die any day, any time... so "later" isn't something I say. if I want to do or say something, I'll do my best to accomplish it at the time, because "later" may never come. | |
