Basicly repeat these chords troughout the whole song.
lyrics:
You don't have a clue
what it is like
to be next to you.
I'm here to tell you,
that it is good,
that it is true.
Birds singing a song,
old pain is peeling,
this is that fresh
that fresh feeling.
Words can't be that strong,
my heart is real,
this is that fresh,
that fresh feeling.
Try, try to forget,
what's in the past,
tomorrow is here.
Love, orange sky above,
lighting your way
there's nothing to fear.
Birds singing a song,
old pain is peeling,
this is that fresh
that fresh feeling.
Words can't be that strong,
my heart is real,
this is that fresh,
that fresh feeling.
Some people are good,
babe in the hood,
so pure and so free.
I make a safe bet,
you're gonna get,
whatever you need.
Birds singing a song,
old pain is peeling,
this is that fresh
that fresh feeling.
Words can't be that strong,
my heart is real,
this is that fresh,
that fresh feeling.
That fresh feeling.
This is that fresh feeling.

| If you listen carefully to the end of "Selective Memory" on Daisies of the Galaxy, you will here a string sequence that sounds like the sample from this song. Coincidence? No . . . He sampled his own song, like he (sort of) did for "Efils' God" on Electro-Shock Blues. | |

| E's lyrics ever substandard? E is an absolutely fantastic lyricist, best displayed throughout the entirety of the ultimate life-affirming album, Electro-Shock Blues, on which the sadness throughout has an undercurrent of incredibly sharp and dark wit and humour. | |

| love this song- there's nothing terribly complicated about it- just simple lyrics, a string section and drum loops--and therein lies its appeal! just a catchy, feel-good tune... | |

| Yes, he uses the sample and plays it backwards in this track. As mentioned, Efils' God uses a backward sample of a track called Dog's Life. The lyrics here are beautifully simple, the opening paragraph is one anyone can relate to. | |

| "Yes, he uses the sample and plays it backwards in this track." haha what? It's not backwards! Just listen to it man, it's the same line as from Selective Memory. I think violin sounds all weird when you play it backwards anyway. 1 | |

| This song is one of those that fills me with this incredible "everything is ok" feeling. It makes the sun shine and the clouds float and all of that jazz. "You don't have a clue what it is like to be next to you" - - such incredible, simple, honest words. | |

| I've heard that they smyphonic-dealies in the back were recoreded from the warm-ups of a symphony, and he wrote a song around what he heard. Blah. Terrible english, Greyshoes. I'm sorry. :( It's neat, but it gets a little annoying. It's too simple to listen to often. Isn't the second song on two of his albums? That confused me... I don't know. It might not be. You guys obviously know more about it than I do. Peace. | |
