| I listened to this song a lot after my first relationship ended and it is so easy to relate to. The straightforward lyrics tell of when his girlfriend dumped him, but he still loved her more than anything and wanted to be with her. Who can't relate to that? | |

| Song was written by Willie Nelson I believe, and it's about regretting taking someone for granted, like your wife. You don't know what you have until it's gone. I think Elvis sang this one becuase it reminded him of Prescilla and how he regrets screwing up his marriage with her. | |

| this song says everything about my last relationship: I took him for granted, although I truly loved him, and still do, I had a pretty crappy way of showing it, so he took his three things and walked out of my life the song? about a guy who hurt his girlfriend emotionally, paying no attention etc, the girl löeft him and now he's begun tu understand what she meant to him, but it's too late to fix it. | |
