| funny ass song, not em's best thats for sure. but all of em's first singles are in that category. i think in an interview he said that, when picking his first single off a new album, he goes through the tracks and picks the one that annoys him the most. which i could see how this song would get on his nerves. | |

| I know in my earlier post I said I disliked this song, but after hearing it on the radio every 5 mintues, it started to grow on me. I don't know, I think the whole"gay undertones" is him making fun of pop people, guys like justin limperdick(i meant timberlake,my fault) and the rest of them, cause they all do act sorta gay, and as most of us know,Em hates them. but if you listen to it well, he throws most of his old stuff in it, Without me at the begining, Lose yourself in the last verse, and Superman with the whole you know your my world, after all his new album is called Encore, the whole thing reminds me and some people i work with of his first single My Name is, he makes fun of himself to make it hard for others to cut him down, which is the best thing anyone can do. Now ofcourse with the video for it and the whole Michael Jackass thing, Jackos bitching, He's just getting what he deserves, he's a little pedderass and should be treated like shit, end of story and he hates the video and wants MTV and the rest to take it off, funny, i remember the conterversy about one of his songs about a guy who was proscuting him and he made a song about him calling him a bad man and you hear a gun getting fired at the end. Guess the ex king of pop don't like his own medicine....sorry for this being so long, carry on now... | |

| eamon, "selling out" isn't necessarily a monetary expresson. "selling out" is probably most used to refer to abandoning what originally defined you so you can fit in better with the rest of the crowd. is eminem finally selling out? he sold out after the second album. everything on the third album is way too forced, because that's what he thinks everyone wants to hear. eminem always has the pattern of releasing his dumbass radio hit song so that he can get airtime on MTV before the album drops (my name is, real slim shady, without me, this crap). but, unless this song is a comment on how unoriginal and uncreative rap has become then i wouldn't have high hopes for the album. | |

| This song is freakin tight! And that should mean alot because i really don't like Eminem, Finally he comes up with a good song about just loving music. But I think at the end of the hook he says this opportunity comes once in a lifetime, don't let it go. | |

| One of the only times that a mainstream hip-hop song has homosexual undertones. Is Em really beginning to realize the fact that most of mainstream pop stars, hip-hop and otherwise, act "kinda gay?" even if they say things wildly homophobic. Good show. Lyrically it is very sharp (even if the music is same old same old.) The song achieves everything a good pop-song should. Is it a revelation? nope, but still memorable. | |

| the 'slim shady LP' was one of the most creative, hilarious, and original albums lyrically and instrumentally. marshall never should have let any of his other monickers take the mic. from that point on his music slowly went downhill in terms of creativity. the guys first album is about eating shrooms and raping trailer trash sluts... by his third album every line is either whining about his mom or his wife... boring. and now, i'm afraid, eminem has "just lost it". | |

| I agree with everything bengt12 has said so far. SSLP was a good album, but he's been steadily goin downhill since then, he's really dumbing himself down. bebopman -- don't judge a book by it's cover? But he's releasing this as a single and video. Wouldn't that mean he wants the song to be some sort of representation of what's on the album? Can we help if he feels it's in the best interest of his album sales to release an idiotic anthem, the only purpose of which is to take cheap pokes at people and give the halfwit TRL audience something to laugh at every time he has an album out? Eamon -- Just ignore anything by anyone whose name has "Jove" in it. 1 2 3 4 5 Next | |

| Greg Cooper you cant say that Eminem largely surpasses Nas… Eminem is rated highly by me… but Nas can’t just be surpassed so easily… Im not saying that Nas is the best… but Eminem would have a hard time knocking Nas out the ring… take time to look at all the facts before you dish out your opinions … Great song... one of his best | |
