| i saw ES, on Saturday 24th March in Hull, and it was fecking amazing, but, Jonny Sniper was sang with different lyrics to that of the Sorry Your Not A Winner EP, and the lyrics used at that of the new album, why change such good lyrics? still just as good though, and Rou said exactly that about the Sex Education bit, but i think its something more deep then that. | |

| I don't really have a clue. But if you dig really deep into the lyrics then it seems that he is getting away from everything to somewhere iscolated, possibly the seaside(a whisper from the wind/crashing of the white waves) and trying to learn from his previous mistakes by getting to know himself and becoming someone new(painting a picture of myself). He's trying to be a sort of agony aunt to people going down the same route as he did(I can't help but listen/I'll always be here for another). So becoming this renewed person has made him feel enlightened(This is all I need to feel alive). Probably a very stupid theory, but it's all I could get from the lyrics | |

| I think the song is about the joy of helping others, and lending an ear to those who need it, whatever there situation is. And as long as he can help others then he will be happy with life, and feel alive. And I also think 'Jonny Sniper', the songs title is just the name of the person who will always be there. :) | |
