| Hmm, Well, thinking about it. I think it may be to do with pirate. Mothership would be the boat name i guess. Walk the plank could be litteral. I think the idea is that they actually walk the plank. then i think "I just fell from the mothership" would mean them falling from the plank and they find all there answers on the ocean bed, as in everything is answered and sorted after they had died, and suck to the ocean bed, i guess. But i dont know. Just an idea xx | |

| I think this one refevers to Oil and pollution again and the Aleins are in fact scienists or spacemen saying that we are polluting and asking why are our answers always invole fosil fules like oil, coal etc. So as always in simple....anyone guess? ... ITS ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING =) | |

| Ah, another thought. "I am sane! I am sane! my soul felt so safe up there no self centered natives destroying our earth" Maybe thats them telling the leader that he's sane and doesnt deserve to be made to walk the plank. He felt safe because he had a whole army behind him, and he doesnt want the enemy pirates destroying their land. xxx | |

| im pretty sure its "what are the CROWDS running from" sounds logical and im not sure if this songs about polution "walk the plank" kinda sounds like an actual alien invasion, and there sacrificing humans since ES are pretty atmospheric and almost "spacey" themselves, this kinda fits there persona x | |

| Basically.. I think that the first part.. "Go tell all your friends that this is the end.." is the guys conscience talking because the guy wants to kill himself. and then the next bit "I don't understand a word you're saying" is like the guy debating with himself and questioning what he's about to do.. So I reckon the song is about suicide.. like "your answers they're always lying on the ocean bed".. drowning! and there's a deathly tone in the air. Then he's trying to convince himself that he's "awake" and "sane" and that if he dies things will be better "up there".. and he's having to plead with a thousand voices.. aka the voices in his head. then the whole "walk the plank" bit is him trying to do it and then the final "WALK THE PLANK" signifies him actually doing it and that's why in the last part of the song, the tense changed from what it was right at the beginning .. "your answers they're always lying on the ocean bed" (they ARE) and by the end of the song it's.. "your answers WERE always lying on the ocean bed" Well anyway.. that's just my theory.. but it is a fucking amazing song! | |

| jesus christ ... EVERY entershikari lycrics arnt meant literally.. like for example this song is about the feeling that theres something wrong with your girlfriend, that shes cheating on you, shes lying to you. hes wide awake cuz he cant sleep of the tought that his girl is going with someone else. and then the "i am sane" part is that he discovered that she cheated on him. take them figurly the enter shikari lyrics. not litteraly.. -.- | |

| maybe a guys whos an out cast, hes alienated (fell form the mothership) people tell him, hes from the mothership too. he lays awake at nigh because of it. more like schoolyard bullys, tell him hes crazy (and an alien) it seems there are thousands of people against him bullying him when its really just a few in his face all the time (you know the scene in movies where its all blurry and vioces echo and overlap) kids telling him to "walk the plank" either die or its soem kind of bullying 'game' maybe the guys is insane though, he lays awake at night hearing voices, trys to tell the voices and/or him self hes not insane. or a guy wondering about his origins, fell from the mother ship, searches for the answers on the ocean bed ie hell never know, theyre unreachable, feels hell never know it coude be one two or a bit of all three, we may never know ; ) | |
