I love this song. When I was little, my dad would play it to help me get t sleep. It always calms me down and I feel closer to my dad. This song is amazing.

Enya is one of my favorite musicians, her voice is so magical. I think this song is about the possibilties that are out there for us: you know how they say "sky is the limit" well I'm pretty sure this means the same thing here. The names she sings are the Greek mythology gods of the different winds, i.e. Eastern wind, Southwestern wind, etc. Caribbean blue to me is the beauty in living your dreams. I know I long for my dreams to come true (like most everyone) so thats why my soul connects with this song.

Enya makes my heart sing...her voice is so comforting, magnificent. Makes me believe in a higher power who loved us so much that through all the pain we suffer, we can enjoy such beauty...for a few moments love prevails

I love how she just lifts you up about 2 minutes into it, then goes back to the "...if all you told was turned to gold". Then the layers of her beautiful to end it are just so surreal. This song can tame even the most savage of beasts.

This song is totally unknown in my country, i heard it for the first time in a commercial... The beginning of this the song is so beautiful that i can't put a word to describe it. Between beauty and dream...

One of my favourite songs, quite possibly ever. The chord usage works so well and I'd love to know what keyboard effects are used. I think it means that if everyone told the truth and there was less suffering and such (very stereotypically cheesy :-D) then things would be good (aka the skies would be blue). Beautiful :) Oh, and Fairygirl... I started a new job at a DIY shop this week and I've been put in the paint section. While I was re-stocking the shelves with some - I think it was Dulux - paints, I came across a tin of Caribbean Blue. It did make me smile :-) 1

I remember hearing the beginning of this song over and over and over and over again....i was taking a college exam in Calculus....in the Fine Arts building for some reason. The floor below they were doing dances and this song hummed through the floor. I don't know if the rest of the class appreciated this song. But it sold me on Enya. It brought me into her music fully.... (P.S. I got an "A" in the class)

This song always makes me want to giggle in a way. I remember looking up at the sky when I was a kid and you've got the fluffy white/greyish clouds spread about, you can kind of imagine you're looking down at the ocean with outcroppings of rocks (if you focus just on the sky). That's what this song makes me think of :)
