| I love this song. This is the first song I remember ever dancing with my fiance. This will be our wedding song and will always be our song. There is a live version somewhere out there from I think the 90's that I absolutely love. It's a little bit longer than the original (instrumental wise) but it's beautiful. | |

| I don't know if it's true or not.. but I heard that this actually wasn't supposed to be a love song at first... that Eric Clapton wrote this towards his wife who was trying on clothes at a store or getting ready for a party .. and he was saying this sarcastically just to get her to hurry up. He wrote the lyrics then decided to slow it down and make it into a love song. The love song that never was..lol. But it is beautiful.... and one of my fav's anyways | |

| This song is truly beautiful in that it explains in the most basic of terms how one can find themselves completely and utterly in love and how important it is to share how we feel with that special someone. I absolutely love this song and will make a point to personally sing this song to my new wife at my wedding reception. I don't think I could ever simply ignore this song if I heard it playing.
