Am C D F
There is a place in New Orleans
Am C E
They call the Rising Sun
Am C D F
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
Am E
Oh lord I know I'm one
This is how you pick it.(And pick it you should !)
Am C D F

Pick in the same manner the other chords for each line of each verse.
My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new blue jeans
My father was a gambl'n man
Down in New Orleans
Well it's one foot on the platform
The other foot on the train
I'm going down to New Orleans
To claim my fathers name
Mothers tell your children
Not to do what I have done
...(Here I can't understand what he's singing)...
In the House of the Rising Sun
There are all Four verses, except for the ever elusive third line
of the fourth verse. Anyone who can actually understand what he sings
please e-mail me and let me know. Not knowing is driving me nuts.
Tips : After the second verse there is a verse long interlude of Organ
and Guitar. After the interlude he stops picking and is wildly but
rythmicly strumming the chords. You should do the same
Good Luck !
