Yeah whoever thinks the dads died they're foolish. It's a girl coping with the animosity between her mother and father. Blood won't come means because of the constant fighting -(amanda always cries when you yell at me)- shes feels its her fault -(she thinks it's all her fault when it all goes wrong)- and she feels depressed so shes trying to cut herself or along those lines. Definitly about a divorce or feud between parents which results in the father just walking out and the effect on the daughter.

The dad is dead? I always saw it as the father was leaving because the parents got a divorce, hence "Doesn't want to Hear us fighting anymore" and "It's hard on a grown man too See my baby crying at the window Calling out my name " Is him leaving because his wife divorced him.

This song didn't really apply to me until a few days ago. I mean, it did in a way because my dad disowned me when I was fourteen and right around that time my mom split with the boyfriend she'd had since I was seven. Neither of them have talked to me since except for a two-minute conversation with my dad during which I hung up on him. But now my mom and stepdad are getting a divorce and this explains exactly how I feel. I'm seventeen, almost eighteen now, and been fatherless basically my whole life. Now that I've got a stepdad who I love, I don't want to lose that family thing I've always wanted. My stepdad's been more of a father than I've ever had and I don't want him to go away now. But for now, all I can do is turn up Everclear so that I can't hear them fighting and they can't hear me crying. Scared little girl Watching Aladdin on TV Amanda always cries When you yell at me Yeah- please don't yell at me Climb up all those stairs Close the door Doesn't want to Hear us fighting anymore And I think the "The blood won't come when it oughta come" is a cutting reference. I remember when I used to cut myself, I couldn't make myself bleed sometimes and I can't quite tell you why but it hurt. It was almost like something was wrong--a normal response wasn't occuring. It's like blood won't drip when it should and love doesn't work when it ought to work. It could also be a metaphor of some sort. Like you're too numb to bleed, cry or feel. I really don't know for sure, but those are some of my favorite lines in the song. Also, I really love Art's voice. I mean, it's always wonderful, but it's very emotional in this song. Especially on "Please don't yell at me". That line always gets me. 1

This is about his wife and daughter, yes - when the blood won't come when it's supposed to means about her finding out she was pregnant.

I tought it was that she was cutting herself beacuse she was depressed but now that i think about it World of Noise's expenation makes more sense.
