	this song is my absolute favorite everclear song ever! I think art is talking about how love doesn't always have to and often doesn't make sense,you CAN love someone completely irrationally without knowing anything about them. I think it's also about how people are often too AFRAID TO TAKE CHANCES!

	If i did that to some girl in the job centre she would call the security. One of those stories that only work in Hollywood or, in this case, pop music. Good for a daydream though. We've all thought about stuff like that.

	Um first off, this is NOT what girls want. Penny, I would just love to see a bum rush up to you and your friends while you are walking past a liquor store telling you that he is going to impregnate you and you are going to be the father of his child. If you had mace you wouldn't hesitate to use it and if you say otherwise your just lying. With that being said... :) It's about one of two things... either it's literal and it's about a girl Art met outside of an unemployment office in the past that he wishes he would have had the confidence to ask out... Or... The less literal intrepertation. It's about the guy that Art wishes he was in his own marriage. Letting her pick the movies, not being that "obnoxious guy in the famous band" that his wife sleeps with. Being able to always be there for his little girl and wife, being able to be there to hold her hand. I don't know, I think that is more what the song is about, but of course there are always dozens of ways to look into songs like this.

	lol, yeah i agree this literally wouldn't be what a girl wants, that'd be creepy.. but like the song and the feelings and the way he feels about the girl is what a girl wants. This song is sweet. And I love it.

	osubuckeye420 I completely agree with what you said to Penny (any normal girl WOULD of course be terrified if a guy said something like that to her), but I don't think he literally means he went up to some chick and said "Hey. I have no money. Let me have your babies!!" I think it was just the whole idea of a nice guy coming up to a poor (money and/or happines wise) girl and making her feel special.

	Ummm... does anyone know who the girl is at the beginning and end of this song ?? She sounds just like the girl at the beginning of "seperation" by colorfinger (Art's Band before everclear). Oh, and yeah this is of of course, a great song. (but really, aren't they all?)
