	Without naming names coughA7Xlostprophetslinkinparkcough this song certainly seems to be about bands who abandon their roots in search of fame. Bravery of oblivion to my mind evokes how it is to not get recognised for what you do, but still do it cos you know it's good. Also some parts refer to how things will be if original bands do die out, and how we'll hark back to the good ol days of ETID and Norma Jean where it was done for love of it all. Keith Buckley rules!

	Yeh OK they sound OK together on this but MCR are a terrible band with ZERO musical talent or ability - they play music thats popular at the time - as soon as Emo goes out of popularity (and it will, I hate to break it to you 13 year olds) only those bands with serious talent will survive. ETID have great amounts of talent. Dream Theater Own You.

	What do you mean by bands like Atreyu? Atreyu is a friggen sweet band! They play an awsome sick show! But yes, this song is awsome. it seems like it's about 2 peoples boared with eachother, yet can't really seem to come to an end to it... and in the end, she's a stripper... WHOO!

	gerard way from MCR is on this. i don't think it's one of the strong points on the new album, but thats just my opinion. as for the meaning, i have trouble with any of their songs.

	i kind of get the impression it's about groupies or cheating as well going off these lines: "Stutter step to the beat of a disparaged lover" -disparaged basically means to belittle and depreciate, and if he's just going to use this girl for sex then i'd imagine he wouldn't respect her. "Never minded the faithless courage of shame or the bravery of oblivion, I'm on her mind and I'm never coming back" -he's saying that he doesn't care that he's sleeping with her. the last line makes me think that the girl won't stop at anything until she sleeps with him. "If two timing is what it takes then we both know one take is all we need" -two timing being cheating. one take being just one time they mess around. "There's no difference between being holy and alone, That's why I'm eagerly fleeing the scene" -by now he's realized that he let him being alone take advantage of the situation and that he's sinned. he wants to forget about it and not do it again. "Baby return the favor and leave somebody you love" -his girlfriend or someone along those lines found out what he'd done and left him, and now he's bitter toward the girl he messed around with and is telling her to leave her boyfriend. "God forbid we indulge when at sea" -God forbid he gets lonely while out on tour and sleeps with someone. "Nobody knows the trouble I've been Or the exacting improvement of sin I'm handing myself over I'm turning myself in War has no glory like a woman ignored" -now he's 'turning over a new leaf' if you will and is ignorning all of the groupies or other girls he has the opportunity to sleep with because of all the trouble he's gone through with the "improvement of sin"; otherwise the adultery. and hypothetically speaking, if this song was the song that every time i die sent out to underoath, it would make sense to go by the idea of it being about groupies/cheating, since underoath are christians and adultery is a sin. that's just what i get out of this song. 1

	I have been told that this song is an assault on "fake" hardcore bands. When he says "Either you or I or both must go" he means that if the scene keeps going the way of bands like Atreyu then he's leaving ("That's why I'm eagerly fleeing the scene") The last line, "I know the strippers real name", sounds like he's talking about M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold, who comes out with a stage name, covered in makeup and whoring himself and the music. It's a fucking awesome song regardless.
