| This song is quite simple. It's about a guy who wants to prove himself to be a hero to his girlfriend or a girl he loves, so he sabotages her car and forced her into a car wreck. He's done this before ("dear me, I've done it again"), and the girl dies in the wreck. Hence the last line: "The greatest lovers are murderers first." | |
