The Exploited are a seminal rock band, from the second wave of U.K. punk rock, musically defined as Crossover thrash (especially in post-1987 period). They formed early 1980 in Edinburgh and after signing to Secret Records in March 1981 they released their debut album Punk's Not Dead. Despite seemingly countless line-up changes over the years, the band has managed to maintain, develop, and evolve a highly influential style of punk.
