Artist: John Frusciante
Album: Shadows Collide With People
Song: Cut-Out

In the bridge part you should make a slide up to the A chord from the F#m chord. As I've
some troubles getting these chords proper comments are very welcome.

I think at the end he says "All the way over." Anyway, beautiful song. Simplistic and very sad. I don't know what it means though...maybe someone who was very controlling? I don't know what else to say.... 1

He'll pay to be cut out of this cycle of futility? Thats my first interpretation anyway. moments taking eachothers place is just an example of nothing eventful, just time passing. never knowing who you are - constraints on people's knowledge. This of course would assume that 'knowing' who you are is essential - and since you can't the songwriter would pay to be cut out of such a cycle. I like this song a lot - however, I think that it also assumes certain things that neglect the possibility of other important things in life. maybe I just don't get it yet - who knows. I'll keep listening to it regardless.
