| no this song is about being confident and everyone knows it! its also about following your true self and by letting the earth and intuision guide you I live my life by the moon If it's high play it low, if it's harvest go slow and if it's full, then go But after midnight morning will come And the day will see if you're gonna get some | |

| I think this is about being independent, and acting like you don't need a guy. But once the lights go off you really want someone there, even if it's a random hook up. | |

| It's about a girl who's too strong and confidant when she's surrounded but at night when she's all alone she's scared of being alone... | |

| This song really speaks to me in the position I find myself in lately. Just broke up with a long-term BF and kinda interested in someone else. I feel like I am caught between wanting to be by myself and be independent and single for a while. I think Nelly really hits on what its like to be feminist and independent female. You try so hard to project that superwoman image, like you dont need a man to complete you or make you happy. But when your all alone, with no one to "act" for, everyone gets lonely and the insecurities that you pretend arent there surface. "Where is your logic?" is her trying to tell herself not to be so insecure and give into her feelings. Think with your head, not your heart. But she cant help it at nite... The part about "i live my life by the moon" reminds me of how i check my horoscope to give me a little guideance as to what to do with my life... | |

| I love this song. Nelly Furtado is really talented and a nice departure from the more bubblegum side of pop music. | |

| I think this song is actually about a woman who WANTS to project an independent, tough exterior to the world but who really just craves intimacy. Kind of saying that the woman who needs to work hard and appear to have it together during the day to everyone needs extra attention at night and alone. It could be that, or that the she feels stifled by the relationship that she is now in and only does it because it feels safe. One or the other, or maybe both. | |

| Generally I think this song is about putting on a tough, independent, strong, 'I don't need or depend on anybody or anything' persona in front of everyone. But when you're alone with yourself and your thoughts, your insecurities, fears, and desires that you keep hidden rise to the surface. | |
