Sams tuning is without a doubt correct, i however hear different strings on the recordings so my suggestion is this because after quite a few hours playing it this seems a more natural way to do it and also rings true with how ive seen him picking it.

E ||--------------------------------
B ||--------------------------------|
F#||---------------3-----------3----|
D ||----------0-----------0---------| :Repeat: ! :)
A ||-----4h-5---5----4h-5---5-----0-|
D ||--0-----------------------------|

Jose is obviously very comfortable with the guitar and does add incedental notes here and there. As Sam has provided the correct tuning, if you keep your finger on the f#(3) you can hit these easily, well done Sam, i hope you dont mind me adding this! Its all up to what you hear i guess.
