THE QUEEN AND I
As recorded by Gym Class Heroes
From the album AS CRUEL AS SCHOOL CHILDREN

This song just sounds cool so i had to try to figure it out. I'm sure there are other
to play it, but this way seemed pretty simple to me. I know its not all the way correct
its a start. If you just listen to the song, i'm pretty sure you can figure the rhythms out.

Gtr II (E A D G B E)
****BOTH GUITARS HAVE CAPO ON 5th FRET, all notes relative to the capo****
Riff 1 (this is played throughout the song, listen for the rhythm)

| "and if you could put dumb in a shotglass" it sounds like numb to me, and that makes a lot more sense, especially in the context of the songs other lyrics | |

| Obviously this song is about his girlfriend being an alcoholic. This band is amazing though. It's the rap/hip hop I've found that doesn't say a swear every second word...Very unique and completely amazing. | |

| i always thought that this was about a girl that was way too good for a guy. and the guy knows that she could do so much better, so the alcohol is the only thing keeping them together...like in the part with "oh no she's at the bottom..." he's upset because he knows she shouldn't be drinking, but then it's "bravo she's at the bottom.." like he realizes that he can only have her while she's this way. is this right? | |

| i agree with 360dregrees. Plus i think its "I'm just another lush who's had one too many in me" instead of "Someone never like us she's had one too many" and then "...lettin' her Think she could do better than me" I think there are some other parts but it's just too hard to make it out clearly. but that's what I know for now. | |
