Dying to be alive chords
C Am
Well I heard you crying
F G
Somebody stole my soul.
C Am
How could I be dying?

I turned 25, days ago.
{bridge}
We're all

Crying out.
Am G
Somebody save me please.

I won't sit around just thinking about,
Am G
The troubles that tomorrow brings
Yeah
::Chorus
C F Eb Bb
I'm dying to be alive, yeah.
C F Eb Bb
I'm dying to be alive, yeah.
C F Eb
Lets not go through our lives.
Bb C F Eb
Without just dying to be alive.
Bb
Yeah.
C
The people you've touched,
Am
The way you've touched them
F G
I hope they've touched you too.
C
'Cause in this life,
Am
It's hard to tell.
F G
What is false and what is true.
{Bridge}
We're all
C
On the ground,
Bb
Crying out.

No matter how strong,
C G
We all return to the ground
Am F
Another day gone,
C F
A day closer to fate.
Am
And soon we'll find it's
F G
A little bit too late.
Am
Na Na Na-na
F
Na Na Na-na
C
Na Na Na-na Na

The things you see,

C
To go through life,
Am
Livin' on luck.
F G
Betting ten thousand to ten.
Yeah
C
Mistakes I've made
Am
In this life.
F G
I can't say why or when.
C
But the thing that's strange is
Am
You only live once.

I'll never look back again.
C F Eb Bb
I'm dying to be alive, yeah.

| I love this song. Hanson isn't my favorite "boy band" but I do like their music, and this song is really great. If you notice the part that says "In the days to come you'll say why did I wait You can't just leave your life up to fate You got to turn it around before it's too late", it's talking about doing what you want, and not giving up. | |

| Why? What the heck is wrong with Hanson? If it wasn't a bad song, then why should it matter if it was by Hanson? Hanson rules. | |

| I can't stand it when people say Hanson/The members of Hanson are Gay. It really makes me mad because people stereotype them so badly and can't respect the fact that they DO make good music. I dare anyone that makes fun of them to actually get up there and do what they do. They would fail miserably. 1 | |

| I feel really lame. I downloaded a song ( I have no idea by now what I was TRYING to get ) and I ended up getting this song. You know how some people trick you into downloading something by naming it something else ? Well the name of this song was "Rare and Unreleased, sung by BSB, Britney, 5ive N*SYNC and MORE" and the description says "Linkin Park." Still, I played the song, and it wasn't bad, so I looked here for the lyrics, only to find it was sung by HANSON ?! I feel like a total dork now. | |

| Well, this song is obviously very deep. It seems rather adroitly obvious that the boys suffered a "puppy trauma" at a young age. I'm not sure of what nature; maybe they were attacked, maybe the puppies were drowned, I'm just not sure. But it's clear that it was a puppy-related incident. And as a result: this song. So, whatever the trauma, thank God for it, eh?! | |

| it makes me sad when people dont like hanson just because they're "pop" (which BTW is a misnomer for hanson) they make GOOD music. this time around is a great album. you all just are too blinded by your own labels to see the greatness of hanson GO HANSON AND HANSON FANS | |

| these are all horrible comments... soo i'm gonna at least throw a good one in... HA. this song - as said above - is about dying to be alive... it just is sayin everyone should have at least one moment when they just love bein there and living. i love the part that taylor sings "And we all come Tumbling down No matter how strong We all return to the ground Another day gone A day closer to fate And soon we'll find it's a little bit too late" it sounds so sweet and innocent like it should be. oh, and to charityb: just go away and read some MEANINGLESS pop crap. sorry... this was a mean post. sorry to all the dumb people in the world... i love you all. | |

| charityb, i'd feel like a bigger dork trying to download "Britney, 5ive N*SYNC and linkin park." but really. i think people would have more respect for hanson if their fans were a little more respectable. 21 year old girls who can't spell and act like they're still 14. . it's scarey. this is why i won't go see hanson live. either way, i really like this song. OMG U GUYS! HANSON ROX!!!!!! ALL U HATERZ R DUMB!!!! STFU! HANSON IS THE BEST BAND EVER!!! LoLz!!!!!11 | |

| um... wat have puppies got 2 do with nething?!? i see/hear no mention of puppies in the song... this song is about a near death experience of some sort, and the person realizing that you shouldnt just leave your life up to fate, not doing a thing 2 change it, but u should take control and do what you want to do, how you want to do it as soon as possible, and realizes that eventually, everybody will die, no matter what they do or dont do, so you may as well do whatever the hell you want while you still can, so that when youre old and really are dying, you wont look back and wonder 'what if...' | |

| People need to get over their stereotypes of 1997 Hanson. They aren't little kids anymore, and they are really talented musicians. People piss me off when they can't get over the past and open their minds. | |

| boy band shmoye band... true, hanson is not a boy band... but when you think about it... neither are boy bands. first of all.... they aren't boys... they're men. and second... they're aren't a band because the true definition of a band is: "A group of musicians who perform as an ensemble." ok, ok... they do perform as an ensemble... but ARE THEY MUSICIANS? defin. of a musician: "One who composes, conducts, or performs music, especially instrumental music." ugh... fine. they are a band. well anyhoo... it's a dumb name... they should be men performers... that's what i'm gonna call them from now on. ^ god, this was a pointless post... sorry. | |

| Jeeze ppl... retract your claws! Yes Hanson is the greatest band of all time... no NOT a boy band in anyway. They are amazing performers and so much fun to be around. Well at least for a few minutes. They write music from their hearts, and i love all their songs, they are #1 in my book... plus they are hott too! I hate the STUPID stereotypes they get, it pisses me off. HANSON'S #1 FAN! | |
