| i believe that the song is about a relationship with a girl, and how that relationship makes him happy and sets him free...however, i recently read somewhere that this was supposed to be a song about god. whatever, i still hear it as a song about girl. :) | |

| This song is my favorite Hanson song. It is soo uplifting. "I want you for always?" That is adorable. "You feel like liberation" is the first line and it gives me chills. How amazing to feel like that about someone. | |

| "hmm....I always thought it was about God." I agree with this. But even if it's not, it's safe to say that it is definitely not about a girl. MSN chat transcript from July 2004: http://fallenstars.com/thd/www/msn-071404.html ¤_NAIANNA_¤: Well... this question is kind of personal, but I'm dying to know. You guys are not singing about a girl in "Every Word I Say," are you?! It could refer to God sometimes when I listen to it. Hugs!! Naianna... HANSON: There's a lot of meaning behind that song and it would be narrowed to think it was just about a girl. It's definitely not. | |

| I honestly think this song is sung with more passion than I have ever heard another person put into one song ever before. The "no no no no" parts by Taylor are heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Why are Hanson so under appreciated just because of their childhood music? Their new music is so good. 1 | |

| I've felt this way about a boy before. :) It is an incredible feeling. Even when you see the first letter in his name, or hear his name on tv or in a movie, your thoughts jump to him and you can't help but smile. I think this song is about giving into that feeling and rejoicing in the fact that you're in love with some one. | |

| a guy is totally in love with a girl, she means everything to him, and he feels that he can now do anything and be anything, because she loves him and completes him - i LUV the verse where it goes 'and now i say goodbye to, the way i used to be, there is no room for question, cuz your name it sets me free... i reckon ike n tay sound so sexy, the way they both sing, ike doing the actual verse n tay doing the 'no no' part underneath... its sounds so awesomeage, and it really adds to the song | |

| This is my favourite Hanson song. I think it's about how one person can mean the world to you and how s/he can change your life (for good). Great lovesong, I love how Taylor sounds so passionate in this one :) | |
