it exactly you need a capo at the first fret.If you have any doubts on
the chords just e-mail me ramaral@net.em.com.br

Verse:
A C#m
Isn't it weird. Isn't it strange.
D Dm
Even though we're just two strangers on this runaway train
A C#m
We're both trying to find a place in the sun
D C#m Bm
We've lived in the shadows, but doesn't everyone
C#m D Dm A
Isn't it strange how we all feel a little bit weird sometimes
C#m D Dm
Weird. Oh ho.
A C#m
Isn't it hard. Standing in the rain.
D Dm
You're on the verge of going crazy and your heart's in pain
A C#m
No one can hear but you're screaming so loud
D C#m Bm
You feel like you're all alone in a faceless crowd
C#m D Dm A
Isn't it strange how we all get a little bit weird sometimes.

Chorus:

D A
Sitting on the side. Waiting for a sign. Hoping that my luck will change.
D A
Reaching for a hand that can understand, someone who feels the same.
D A
When you live in a cookie cutter world being different is a sin.
D Dm A-C#m-D-Dm
So you don't stand out. And you don't fit in. Weird. Whoa oh.
D A
Sitting on the side. Waiting for a sign. Hoping that my luck will change.
D A
Oh ho. Reaching for a hand that can understand, someone who feels the
same.
D A
When you live in a cookie cutter world if you're different you can't win.
D Dm
So you don't stand out and you don't fit in. Oh.
A D Dm
Isn't it strange how we all feel a little bit weird
A D Dm
Strange, how we all get a little bit.
A D Dm A
Strange, how we all feel a little bit weird sometimes.
D Dm A C#m D Dm
Oh, just a little bit weird sometimes.

omigosh i forgot about this song! This song is probably one of the first Hanson songs I ever listened to. It's a good tune, well written, and has a lot of truth in what it has to say. Life is Weird. Period. Enough said.

I heard this when I first came to Canada to start a new life in a new country and new school. I couldn't fit in or find friends cos things were just different. No one spoke my language and I felt really different, in a bad way. so of course, I worshipped this song. Now, I still love it and I respect them for writing something so meaningful that everyone can relate to.

This is a a great song for anyone who feels or has ever felt like an outsider. It's just like, this person is trying to be himself when everyone around him is the same, and he doesn't feel like he belongs. I think almost everyone can relate to it at one point in their life.

I think the popularity of this song comes from the fact that we all need a bit of reassurance sometimes, that we aren't the only ones who have bad times, or who feel a bit wierd and out of place sometimes. It happens to all of us everywhere, wether you are an average mortal, or a celebrity singing on stage. Hanson obviously wrote this song during some strange times, and provide comfort to anyone listening by describing the emotional times that they go through.... that we all go through. GREAT SONG!!!

when i first heard this song, i was a bit weird myself (and still am! lol) and it put my feelings into words. who hasn't felt gawky and awkward at times? if you're totally honest with yourself, you know you have... especially when you go to school and stuff. anyway, i loved this song, still do, and when i have kids... i'll sing it to them. feeling out of place will always be an obstacle, no matter what year it is.

Another Hanson song that's just addictive. Some of their songs are just amazingly good, despite the public's hatred for them.

the thing that amazes me about Hanson is their ability to take something that everyone feels and put it into a beautiful song. some of their music you listen to and you just go "wow, you boys are exactly right". this is my favourite song, followed closely by Breaktown.

I used to LOVE this song and still do. Personally to me it means that everyone has times where they fell "out of place". Everyone is different yet, all deal with the same things at different times.

this song is just amazing, especially considering how young they were when they wrote this song. those kids were wise beyond their years, that's for sure. I just love the line "when you live in a cookie cutter world, if you're different you can't win" - it's so simple but so perfect. And it's true, we all feel a little bit weird sometimes. 1
