Hawthorne Heights is a melodic/post hardcore band that formed in Dayton, Ohio in June of 2001. The band was originally known as "A Day In The Life" but changed its name as its music and lineup also changed. JT Woodruff is the frontman on vocals and guitar, Matt Ridenour is on bass, Eron Bucciarelli on drums, and Casey Calvert and Micah Carli on guitar.
With three guitarists, along with a bass player and a drummer, Hawthorne Heights is somewhat distinct among rock bands; most rock bands of this size would have only two guitarists (rhythm and lead).
