I got the impression that this song was about a drug addiction.. "She is in my bloodstream tonight she's leading me The moon is filled with red's and blues follow where she leads into the darkness" When he says "she" he means the drug.. its in his system and hes hallucinating.. "Trying out my fangs, she's a ghost, a silhouette Calling out my name" The drug is calling out his name... "I never thought we'd end up this way You are the worst, I am to blame" Hes saying he didnt think that his addiction could get this much out of control, the drugs are the worst.. possibly because of how they are controlling his life and hes to blame for letting them, or for giving in each time.. "So close the door and lock it tight Then I'll know your safe tonight Turn on the song that means the most Believe im there and hold me close" Again hes adressing the drug.. he'll lock himself in his room.. and do them by himself.. like all he needs at the moment is the drug and nothing else.. Personally i like their first album better " niki fm" and "ohio is for lovers" are classic songs.. this album is just kinda ok..

oh and just to correct some of the lyrics.. i think its "The room is filled with reds and blues"... and "its drying up my veins"... and "She is in my bloodstream tonight she's draining me"... now it kinda makes more sense how the song could be about drugs... :)

Hmm... I can see how this song could be about drugs. "She is in my bloodstream" and "Drying up my veins" : so like the drug gives him a sense of being numb. "A ghost, a silouhette calling out my name": Like his cravings haunt him. I definetly don't think this song is about someone loving another person soo much that they become one. I just don't see it! And its Most definetly not about vampires!! HAHA!!! i've never heard of HH being inspired by vampiricism!! Thats the most rediculous comment i've heard! No offence.

I think this song has nothing to do with vampires or drugs. Personally, I think it's about someone that means so much to you that it seems like they're a part of you, constantly everywhere. I think the whole thing about "tonight she's draining me" has something to do with he can't do anything without her, and the "I follow as she leads" with the same. The metaphors in the song kick ass.

VAMPIRES!!!! this is good. "She is in my bloodstream tonight she's leading me" reminds me of "can you feel her running through your veins" in atreyu's "her portrait in black"
