| tha CD booklet says "This is first song ever written by Hawthorne Heights. It gets it's title because we were transitioning from A Day in the Life to Hawthorne Heights. 'So here we are, back to the start again...' Those lyrics have a very literal meaning. We are starting over from ground zero. At this time, my girlfriend was in Europe studying abroad and i hadn't seen her in three months. One of my favorite features of NIKKI FM are her eyes. I absolutely cannot look into her eyes and be mad at anything. So her eyes can seriously bring a better light to my day.'As days go by the memories remain, I'll wait for you.' It might sound cheesy, but this is my way of saying it dosn't matter what happens, I will wait for you to get home from Eurpoe to be happy again. This was our first real time apart in like a year and a half of dating. I guess I could have been more metaphorical, but at least it's easy to understand. | hawthorne heights is my fav emo band apart from chemical romance, copeland, american football etc. and this is actually my fav song from the whole album. its has a real emaning, i mean the others do as well but this has more of a meaning to me than the other. | |
