yeh i agree , but the song is urging people not to think that way and i like the lyrics "her train's leaving she dont care she just wnats to feel good" bc i think its talking about missed opportunities and that like the problemes we ignore today can end up becoming threatining tomorrow, and its our own ignorance and laziness and what not leading us there. Ne ways It makes me want to get up and do something for the good, and not only for my own personall gain :) ... lol whatever

my favorite hed pe song.... it really is one of their more meaningful songs. to me it seems like just wanting to "feel good", if anyone else cares or not. it like saying f**k you to whatever pisses you off

great song, the chorus totally expresses what I feel like when I'm depressed and I'll do anything to feel better

it's like a cry to leave us alone. we just want to feel good (according to Z.Freud everybody wants to). But there are other who don't understand and this is just cry to the for the nobody (G.O.D. you can call whatever you want).

This song isnt easy to explain.. it just means that you are so depressed you are dont even care anymore because all you want is to feel good and thats not happening, so you will just sit there while other life goes to hell. Its when your sick of everything.

Well I think this song means something different, i fell it is the government, getting its people to do things that are wrong such as go to war destroying the world and telling their doing the right thing which in turns makes them feel good because they are brainwashed to think that way

The screaming in the chorus says "What is it worth" instead of what's written above. I think its a satirical view of people's view of the world. "the sky is falling, I dont care. I just want to feel good". This is basically saying that the world is falling apart but we don't care. We just want to feel good. I don't think it's such a complicated song as people are saying. I just think its saying that alot of people dont care about anything but themselves as they just want to feel good....

I kinda disagree with everything posted so far. It seems to me that Hed are looking around at everything and saying that people just don't care about anything. They're having a dig at all of the self-righteous, selfish idiots in the world. The views expressed so far imply that the writers have only listened to Serj's chorusy bit, but if you listen to the next bit it says: No- we can't compromise like that No- we can't conform like that I'm saying fuck you and fuck the norm like that Revolt and transform like that Make a difference Have an impact Then it goes into biblical references and returns to the armageddon situation they hinted at at the beginning. So yeah, an amazing song - but I believe that they're trying to get across that people put they're own comfort and good-feelings before what's right and good. It's a commentary on the moral breakdown in the world.

I think frowned and 6taby9.. i think it's more about the egoism (dunno if i write that good) from the people.. The world is dying we dont care, we just wanne feel good" like i don't care what happen, as long sa i feel good. And i'm sorry for my bad english but i'm dutch :)

I was thinking the same thing, as frowned reading the first few entrys (not that they were bad interpetations just different). I see what frowned is saying and I would just like to add that I feel its also about the fact that people would rather get FUCKED up or "have fun" to forget their worries rather than try and make a difference. And because getting fucked up or/and having fun only helps you feel good or fix the situation for a limited amount of time, we will inevitablly be faced with the end of the world. And at that point what are we to say but: "It's all over, we don't care We just want to feel good "
