| The first two lines of the song are actually: Waifer thin The waif is in I don't know exactly, but I feel like this song is about people who have strong opinions about things they have never experienced in life. The imagery used brings to mind a poor woman or man living under a puritan way of life, where it is preached that hard work is the reward by others that had things given to them. Spreading their beliefs and crushing the opposition. I think the song is about someone so convinced that their point of view is the only one, the only way to get away from them is to agree with them, even if you don't. This is one of my favorite songs on Betty. I signed up so I could correct this lyric. 1 | |
